Charles "Chuck" Hatley
I was born and lived in Corpus Christi, Texas, until the age of 6 when my family moved to Abilene. I attended school at Hawley Elementary, Lincoln Junior High, Abilene High School, and Texas A & M Extension. In 1978, I joined the United States Air Force and served our Country for eight years in law enforcement field. I attended the USAF College to advance my education and decided law enforcement was my calling.
I wanted to help people and serve the citizens in my community. I began working for Dalworthington Gardens Police Department part-time in 1982, and became full time in 1986. During my time with DWG, I became a Police Instructor, a Fire Fighter, and an Emergency Medical Technician. I received my Masters certificate from TCOLE.
In 2005 I went to work as an Internal Affairs Investigator and Training Coordinator for Tarrant County Constable Office Pct. 7. In 2009, I was hired to take over duties as Chief Deputy at the Tarrant County Constable Precinct 7, where I am currently providing guidance and support to the men and women assigned to Constable Precinct 7.
I am a strong supporter of non-profit organizations such as Cook Children’s Hospital, Mothers Milk Bank of North Texas, Amy E. Shewbart Foundation, and Our Mother of Mercy School.
I am married to my lovely wife, Deborah Hatley, and in February we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary.
I have three amazing daughters. My twins, Sarah and Jennifer, are excellent public educators. Sarah is a school counselor and Jennifer has her Masters in Education Leadership and is currently working as an English as a second language Teacher.
My daughter, Christina, is a Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine and has her own clinic in Arlington.
After serving our Country and Tarrant County, I am now asking the citizens in Precinct 7 to elect me, Charles Hatley, as your New Tarrant County Constable for Precinct 7.
